BPD K-9s help officers in two Felony drug cases; Daily incident report

   Warrant Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Marijuana)(F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from a traffic stop and resulting search of a residence that took place on March 6th of this year. On that date the suspect was stopped for speeding just before midnight near Bergeson and Mt Vernon. A Boise Police K-9 named "KC" alerted on the vehicle and officers recovered a small amount of marijuana. Officers obtained consent to search the suspects nearby residence and recovered an additional 15 grams of marijuana, scales and other evidence indicating the suspect had been involved in the sale of the controlled substance. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(M), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m) Agents Warrant/Parole Violation (F)

    Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of a residence on the 2100 block of South Kerr Street yesterday, May 24th, at approximately 3 p.m. A Boise Police K-9 named "Kamo" assisted in the search. Officers located a pipe containing Meth residue, approximately 2 grams total package weight of marijuana, and other items of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
