Officers lost contact with the vehicle shortly after and began searching the area for the suspect. At approximately 6:20 a.m. the suspect was detained by Idaho National Guard security personel as he attempted to drive through the main gate at Gowen Field. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .19/.19 at the Ada County Jail. Officers later determined the suspect had been involved in driving through a fence at a construction site on the North side of BSU Stadium. Officers recovered the suspect's front license plate from that scene, resulting in the additonal charge of Leaving the Scene of an Accident. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
