Possession of Meth and other arrests; Daily incident report

  Arrested: Jacquelyn N. Dobra, 26, Boise

   Charges: Agents Warrant/Parole Violation (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of a residence on the 6400 block of Douglas Street yesterday, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Officers recovered approximately 1.8 grams total package weight of meth, digital scales, packaging materials and five meth smoking pipes with residue. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.


   Warrant Arrested: Christopher L. Myers, 36, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Extortion (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Extortion yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation involving a coopertive investigation with Ada County Detectives into an incident that took place in November of 2011. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in an attempt to extort materials from the victim via the internet. The investigation was conducted by the Ada County Sheriff's Office before detectives determined the incident took place in Boise. Boise Police detectives then forewarded that investigative information to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.


    Arrested: Gary W. Cloe, 59, Boise

    Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Failure to Appear Warrant (m)

   Boise Police observed a vehicle near Dorian and Gourley make a wide right turn, almost striking the raised median last night, April 12th, at approximatley 9:00 p.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests before becoming uncooperative. A blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had a warrant for his arrest on failure to appear charges and prior convictions for DUI, making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.


  Arrested: Lisa K. Campbell, 46, Challis ID

   Charges: Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 5200 block of West Franklin yesterday, April 12th,  at approximately 8:00 p.m. Store employees tell police they witnessed the suspect remove price tags before concealing items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Bolice Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.
