Battery on an Officer and Burglary arrests; Daily incident report

   Arrested: Charles E. Killion, 43, Transient

   Charges: Battery on an Officer (F), Assault (m), Possession of Marijuana (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a medical facility on the 100 block of East Bannock Street early this morning, April 5th, at approximately 3:00 a.m. Multiple witnesses tell police the suspect, who appeared to be drunk at the time, became combative with staff. At one point, witnesses tell police the suspect threatened to kill a staff member and charged towards him in an aggressive manner, causing the victim to fear for his safety. Officers located the suspect as he was walking away from the facility. As officers approached the suspect to speak with him, the suspect punched one of them in the chest without warning. The suspect was taken into custody and a search of his person revealed approximately 3 grams total package weight of marijuana in a plastic bag. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY 18-901.  Assault defined.  An assault is:  (a)   An unlawful attempt, coupled with apparent ability, to commit a violent injury on the person of another; or (b)   An intentional, unlawful threat by word or act to do violence to the person of another, coupled with an apparent ability to do so, and doing some act which creates a well-founded fear in such other person that such violence is imminent.  



   Arrested: Joshua C. Hendrickson, 20, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police received a report of a residential burglary that took place at a home on the 3300 block of North Welford Avenue yesterday, April 4th at approximately 9:30 p.m. The victim, who is known to the suspect, entered the residence without permission earlier that day and had taken cash, jewelry, medications and other items. The suspect was located later that day in Garden City and some of the stolen items were recovered. After a detailed investigaiton the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.


   Warrant Arrested: Alec J. Robbins, 20, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Malicious Injury to Property (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Malicious Injury to Property yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into damage done to the victims couch at a residence on the 5000 block of West Morris Hill in February of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect used a knife to damage the furniture as part of an ongoing duspute. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
