Vista PAL Boxing - Big Event This Weekend!

This Vista PAL Boxing event is attracting competitors from around the west, sponsored by the Boise Police Activities League and the Fraternal Order of Police.

   Boise, March 21, 2012 - Vista PAL Boxing is organizing what promises to be a great amateur boxing event in Boise this weekend. Top competitors from several western states are coming to Boise to take part.

    Vista PAL Boxing is sponsored by the Boise Police Activities League (PAL) as a youth development program. Officers and other volunteers teach young people the sport of boxing and at the same time help them develop positive sportsmanship and other skills to benefit all areas of their lives and future. Vista PAL Boxing is growing into a very successful youth sports program in the Treasure Valley!

    This weekends event is also sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Police Treasure Valley Lodge #11.

   The event is Friday & Saturday, March 23rd & 24th at the Borah High gym. Weigh-in is Friday, March 23rd 1 - 3pm at the Vista PAL Boxing gym 5342 Franklin, off Orchard. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with the first bout beginning at 7:00 p.m. Entry is just $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6 - 12 and FREE for children under 6.
