Concerned neighbors help nab vehicle burglary suspect

Arrested: Jacob R. Miller, 22, Boise

Charges: Burglary (F), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

Boise Police responded to a citizen report of a vehicle burglary on the 8500 block of West Brynwood Drive early this morning, March 22nd, at approximately 4:00 a.m. The calling party tells police two males were looking through the neighbor's car using flashlights. Officers spotted two suspects matching the description given by witnesses in the area of Mountain View just East of Maple Grove. As officers attempted to contact the suspects, they immediately dropped a backpack and began running from police. Officers located one of the suspects hiding under a tarp in a residential back yard. A search of the suspect, later identified as Jacob Miller, revealed flashlights, gloves and a metal tube with the odor of burnt marijuana. A search of the suspect's backpack that had been dropped when the chase began, revealed several items stolen from vehicles in the neighborhood. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Amy L. Johnson,43, Boise

  Warrant Charges:  Grand Theft (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into money stolen from a local business between March and December of last year.  Evidence indicates the suspect, who was an employee at the time, used fraudulent means to obtain money from the company for personal gain. The company estimates the theft to be in excess of $6,000.00. After a detailed investigation by Boise Police financial crimes detectives that investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

Arrested: Ellesse E. Williams, 25, Vallejo CA.

   Charges: Harboring a Fugitive (F)

Arrested: Elliott E. Bailey Jr, 26, Boise

Charges:  Parole Violation (m), Contempt of Court (m)

Boise Police contacted the occupants of a vehicle as part of an ongoing investigation near Emerald and Milwaukee street yesterday, March 21st, at approximately 7:00 p.m. As officers contacted the suspects, Ellesse Williams repeatedly provided false identifying information about the adult male she was with. After a detailed investigation, officers determined the adult male was Elliot Bailey and had a current warrant for his arrest on Parole Violation charges. Both suspects were arrested and booked on the above listed charges.
