01-26-12 Officers want your help locating a suspect in an afternoon armed robbery

   Boise, January 26th, 2012- Boise Police  are  investigating the armed robbery of a business that occurred at approximately 2:52 p.m. this afternoon on the 700 block of North Orchard Street.

   What Happened:The victim tells police a lone male suspect walked into the store front with what appeared at the time to be a metal club or pipe and verbally demanded money. The suspect left the establishment on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was last seen leaving the store in an unknown direction. 

   Suspect description:The suspect is described as a male adult, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium to slender build and weighing about 160 lbs. At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing a dark colored face and head covering, dark colored shirt and blue jeans.

    Crime Stoppers:Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS, or log onto, or text CRIMES or 274637, subject: Tip236. A citizen can remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects.
