Armed Robbery investigation

01-25-12 Armed Robbery investigation

   Boise, January 24th, 2012- Boise Police  are  investigating the armed robbery of a private business office that occurred at approximately 4:20 p.m. this afternoon on the 800 block of West State Street. The private business office is upstairs in the Home Federal bank building but not affiliated with the bank.

   What Happened:The victim tells police a lone male suspect walked into the office and pulled an edged weapon before verbally demanding money. The suspect left the office on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The victim tells police he tried to chase the suspect on foot, calling out to bank employees to call 911. The suspect was last seen running West bound on Hayes Street.

   Suspect description:The suspect is described as a light skinned male adult, approximately 20 to 30 years old. The suspect is approximately 5'9 with a muscular build. At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing a dark knit cap with a blue bandanna over his face. The suspect was also wearing a medium brown plaid zipped up jacket and blue jeans.
