Traffic stop leads to Delivery of a Controlled Substance arrest; Weekend incident report

11-07-11 Traffic stop leads to Delivery of a Controlled Substance arrest; Weekend incident report

Arrested: Gerald L. Hambrick, 45, Boise

Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Meth)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m)

Boise Police on patrol observed a vehicle cross into the oncoming lane of traffic and then cross the center line two additional times as it travelled north on Cole Road early Saturday morning, November 5th, at approximately 2:00 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop at Cole Road and Settlers Drive. As officers contacted the driver, Ada County Dispatch indicated he was currently suspended from driving. A Boise Officer observed a baggie containing a small amount of meth in plain sight on the seat of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed four more small plastic baggies containing a combined 11.7 grams total package weight of meth. During the course of the investigation officers obtained evidence that the illegal substance had been offered for sale. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Arrested: Dorothea C. Seidenglanz, 37, Boise

Charges: Interference with a Flight Crew (m), Battery (m)

Boise Police responded to a request for assistance with a problem subject at the Boise Airport Friday, November 4th, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Multiple witnesses tell officers the suspect had refused to comply with regulations and stop using a cell phone before takeoff from Seattle. The suspect eventually complied with the request. During the flight from Seattle to Boise witnesses tell police the suspect became verbally abusive toward the flight attendant and at one point threw a plastic cup striking the victim in the head. Officers believe alcohol was a factor in this incident. After a detailed investigation the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Aranda A. Vasquez, 18, Greenleaf

  Warrant Charges:Aggravated Assault (F)

The suspect was transferred from Canyon County to face felony charges for Aggravated Assault on Friday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation by Boise Police Gang Detectives into an incident that took place in downtown Boise on June 7th of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in an incident where a firearm was discharged from a vehicle, causing the victims to fear for their lives. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
