A blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. As officers prepared to move the suspect's vehicle, they observed the strong odor of burnt marijuana. Officers located a baggie containing 37 Ecstacy pills hidden in the gas cap compartment of the vehicle. After a detailed investigation, the suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Charges:Fleeing or Eluding Police (F), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW)(m)

Boise Police on patrol witnessed the suspect's vehicle pull onto the 6500 block of West Ustick Road Westbound at a high rate of speed almost colliding with a parked vehicle, last night, November 9th, at approximately 6:00 p.m. The suspect vehicle then abruptly pulled over to the side of the road. Officers pulled in behind the  vehicle and activated emergency lights. As officers approached the suspect they ordered him to turn off the car. The suspect instead put the car in gear and sped away from officers. The vehicle turned into a parking lot approximately one block away, almost striking several vehicles on Ustick. Officers intercepted the suspect as he exited the car and had to physically restrain him as he struggled to get away. A search of the suspect's vehicle revealed a marijuana cigarette, a knife concealed on his person and a hypodermic needle. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Arrested: Robert R. Ferguson, 47, Transient

   Charges: Aggravated Battery (F)

Boise Police responded to a report of a fight in Veterans Memorial Park on September 29th of this year. At the time of the fight, the victim, an adult male, was unable to identify the suspect who had struck him several times causing facial injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries. Officers believe alcohol was a factor in the incident.   Warrant Arrested: Aaron D. Draper, 28, Boise

  Warrant Charges:  Burglary (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the theft of 42 cans of compressed air stolen from a local retail store in July of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect entered the store repeatedly to take the cans. Officers have evidence that indicates the suspect was using them for huffing. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
