Charges: Malicious Injury to Property (m)

   Citation Issued:Minor Consumption (m)

Boise Police responded to calls from two citizens of a vandalism taking place in a neighborhood near Fairview and Five Mile early this morning, November 2nd, at approximately 2:00 a.m. Witnesses tell police that three suspects were seen riding bicycles through the neighborhood striking vehicles and mailboxes with a baseball bat as they travelled. When officers arrived, one witness pointed out the suspects in the yard of a nearby residence. One juvenile suspect immediately fled on foot. The baseball bat was recovered nearby. Officers determined the suspects had been drinking alcohol and appeared to be intoxicated at the time, resulting in the minor consumption charges. After a detailed investigation Fernando Mariscal was arrested and issued a citation for minor consumption. A second 18 year old suspect was cited for minor consumption and officers will route the investigative information for a warrant on the malicious injury charge. Officers identified the third juvenile suspect who fled on foot and that investigative information will be routed requesting a warrant on similar charges.
