10-11-11 Armed Robbery - Vista Ave.

    Boise, Oct. 11, 2011 - Boise Police are searching for the man who robbed a convenience store this afternoon on the 1700 block of Vista Ave.

    What Happened:Officers were called to the store at 1:55 p.m. by witnesses who say the man entered the store, jumped over the counter and demanded money from the clerk at knifepoint. Officers praised the clerk for remaining calm. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

    The suspect was last seen running east across Vista Ave. and into the residential neighborhood. An immediate area search by officers failed to locate the suspect.

    Suspect description:The robbery suspect is described as 6'2", approx 200 - 220 lbs with blue eyes. He wore a light blue ski-type face mask, a black pullover hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants and black shoes.
