Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

    Boise, July 12, 2011 - Boise Police are searching for a man who walked into a convenience store this morning armed with a knife and robbed the clerk of cash in the register. 

    What Happened:Boise Police were called shortly after 2:00 this morning to the store on the 1200 blk of S. Orchard St. Witnesses tell officers that the man walked into the store and pointed the knife at the clerk demanding cash. He left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. An officer happened to be very close to the store when the call for help came out. Despite an immediate area search, the suspect was not located.

    Suspect description:Younger male, approx 5'7" tall, 150 lbs. He wore a red T-shirt, baggy blue jeans and white and red shoes. The suspect was last seen walking north toward Orchard Street.
