Officers want your help in the search for a Hit and Run involved vehicle

06-16-11 Officers want your help in the search for a Hit and Run involved vehicle

   Boise June 16th, 2011- Boise Police would like your help in identifying a vehicle and its owner that may have been involved in a multi-vehicle hit and run in a business parking lot early this morning. Officers are asking anyone who has information to please call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.

What Happened:Evidence indicates the vehicle drove over a curb striking two parked vehicles, that in turn struck two more parked vehicles in the parking lot on the 1100 block of West Shoreline lane early this morning. The victim's vehicles received extensive damage with the loss estimated to be in excess of $24,000.00. The incident is believed to have taken place at approximately 5:15 a.m. 

Suspect Vehicle:Officers believe the vehicle to be a Graphite Grey late 90's Jeep Cherokee. The vehicle should have extensive damage to the front end including the bumper and at least one headlight cover.

    Anyone with information on the vehicle is urged to call Boise Police orBoise area Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS. Callers can remain anonymous. Callers with information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000. Citizens can also go online to, follow the links and leave their tip, or text tips the word "TIP236" and type in  "CRIMES".
