Arrested: Tyrone C. Johnson, 35, Boise
Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (F), Vandalism (Malicious injury to property) (m)

    Boise Police were called by the resident of a home northeast of Vista Ave. and W. Overland rd Saturday, May 28, at 11:25 p.m. The resident reported a man who appeared very intoxicated had kicked out a bedroom window in his howm. The resident and the suspect are acquainted and had reportedly been at the residence earlier in the day. Officers soon found the suspect walking several blocks away. The suspect, identified as Johnson, was arrested on the vandalism charge. As he was being booked into the Ada County Jail, he was found to be in possession of a plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, prompting officers to add the felony drug possession charge.


Arrested: Ryan M. McCoy, 31, Meridian
Charge: Tampering with Evidence (F)

    The suspect, McCoy was arrested early Sunday morning, May 29, on an outstanding warrant. McCoy is accused of trying to destroy evidence in a vehicle burglary by pouring liquid in a bag where some of the stolen items were recovered by officers. The alleged vehicle burglary occurred in early May. Officers discovered the evidence soon after. Follow up investigation revealed McCoy was the suspect in attempting to destroy the evidence. The police report was forwarded to the Ada County prosecutor who issued the warrant for the suspect's arrest.
