Boise Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at a convenience store near Roosevelt and Rose Hill early this morning, February 17th, at approximately 1:30 a.m. Victims tell police that two men wearing masks entered the store and threatened the employee with a gun. Officers have determined that a third suspect waited nearby in a vehicle during the robbery. The suspects removed an undisclosed amount of cash and cartons of cigarettes from the store.

Boise Police Officers followed shoe prints in the fresh snow to the location the suspect vehicle had been parked. Officers used cell phones and other electronic devices to distribute images of the tire tracks and footprints in the snow to other patrol units searching the area for the vehicle. One officer observed a set of tracks in the snow that led to a vehicle at a residence on the 3700 block of Rose Hill. The officer noted that the vehicle tread matched the suspect vehicle, the car had no snow on it, footprints also matched and the tracks were fresh. Boise Police made contact with the suspects at the home and determined they had been involved in the robbery. Officers have recovered stolen merchandise from the residence. After a detailed investigation the three suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
