12-17-10 Grand Theft arrests; Overnight incident report

  Arrested: Steven A. Valencia, 20, Boise 

   Charges: Grand Theft (F), Failure to Appear warrant

  Arrested: Rachel K. Thompson

   Charges: Grand Theft (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Probation Violation charges

    Boise Police responded to report of a Burglary at a residence in West Boise on September 20th of this year. The victim, who had been out of town, tells police he returned home to find several things had been taken, including a 55 inch TV, DVD's and other personal items had been stolen from the home. Boise Police, working with witnesses and other evidence later determined the suspects, who are known to the victim, had entered the home and taken his property. Yesterday, December 16th, detectives located the suspects at a home on the 2200 block of Fayette and took them into custody on outstanding warrants for Failure to Appear and Probation Violation charges. Officers discovered a small amount of drug paraphernalia in Rachel Thompson's possession at the time of arrest. After conducting interviews, the suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.


 Arrested: Ralaena A. Hadath, 27, Boise

  Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(F), Petit Theft (m), Probation Violation Charges

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 1500 block of West State yesterday, December 16th, at approximately 3:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers later recovered a prescription medication form the suspect's person without a prescription. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
