  Arrested: Jesse Snowden, 26, Boise

  Charges:Trafficking (Marijuana) (F)

  Arrested: Mickey Savangsy, 23, Boise

  Charges:Trafficking (Marijuana) (F)

    Boise Police Narcotics Detectives arrested Jesse Snowden and Mickey Savangsy yesterday, as part of an ongoing investigation into the trafficking of marijuana. Detectives have evidence that indicates the suspects where involved in the sale of approximately 1 pound (451 grams) of marijuana yesterday at a home on the 2000 block of Agate street in Boise. The controlled substance is valued at approximately $3,000.00

    The BANDIT Task Force investigates gambling, prostitution and illegal drug use. The Task Force includes Detectives from the Boise Police Department, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agency and the Idaho National Guard, working as part of a multi-jurisdictional task force called B.A.N.D.I.T. (Boise Area Narcotics and Drug Interdiction Task Force), commissioned to protect the community from illegal drug activity.


 Arrested: Paul S. Alexander, 41, Boise

  Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

  Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officers, working with information provided by citizen tips, served a search warrant at a residence on the 4700 block of West Holmes Street yesterday (November 17th) at approximately 11:30 a.m. Officers recovered plastic baggies containing Meth residue and other items of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.


  Arrested: Jose G. Vega, 37, Boise

   Charges: Operating a Vehicle Without Owners Consent (F), Leaving the Scene of an Accident (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a one vehicle collision with a telephone pole at the corner of Wildwood and Ustick yesterday (November 17th) at approximately 4:00 a.m. Witnesses say the car veered off the road and struck a telephone pole. Witnesses say the driver got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers contacted the registered owner of the vehicle and after a detailed investigation determined the car had been taken without his consent by a friend earlier that evening. Officers located the suspect at a nearby home and determined he had been the driver at the time of the crash. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.


 Arrested: Kevin M. Hudson, 57, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 1600 block of West State yesterday (November 17th) at approximately 2:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.
