Boise, Aug 2, 2010 - Boise firefighters and paramedics responded last night to a call of a teenage girl falling off a 20-foot cliff on Table Rock.
Firefighters say the young woman was taken to the hospital with injuries that appeared to be non-life threatening, including a broken bone and scrapes.
"She was pretty fortunate to have landed the way she did. We were thankful she wasn't more seriously hurt," said Boise Fire Battalion Chief Tom Pawek.
What Happened: Boise Police, firefighters and paramedics responded to a call Sunday night, August 1st at approx 11:30 p.m. reporting a young woman had fallen from a cliff on Table Rock.
Boise Police were first to arrive and found the teen had landed on dirt and was wedged between some rocks. Officers kept the girl calm while fire paramedics arrived to safely transport her back up the hill to an awaiting ambulance.
