08-03-10 Naked Man Arrested on Public Nudity; Brazen Burglar; daily felony arrests

  Boise, Aug. 3, 2010 - Boise Police were called by a citizen who reported seeing a naked man trying to wrap himself in a tarp in a vacant lot.

Arrested: Jason M. Rose, 32, Boise

Charges: Public Nudity (m) BCC 6-22-02, Resisting and Obstructing Officers (m)

  Boise Police were called by a citizen Monday afternoon at approx 2:19 p.m.. The citizen told police dispatchers there was a naked man apparently wrestling with a plastic tarp in a vacant lot on the 2600 blk of N. 26th St. Officers arrived and found the man, later identified as Rose, hiding behind the tarp. As officers approached the suspect, he made several confused statements to officers, including identifying himself as a crime scene investigator and a police employee, which he is not. Officers placed him under arrest for public nudity and ordered him to place his hands behind his back, which he repeatedly refused. Officers had to struggle with the suspect the get him into handcuffs. Once in handcuffs, the officers covered the man with a blanket. Officers found a backpack and a pair of shoes that belonged to the suspect, but his clothing was not found. Once in handcuffs, officers could see the man had some scrapes. Officers took him to a nearby hospital where he was evaluated and medically cleared. He was then booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charges.


Arrested: Jonathon M. J. Bays, 25, Boise

Charge: Burglary (F)

  Boise Police were called by an employee of a private business office just northwest of Fairview Ave. and N. Five Mile Rd. The employee told officers a man had been riding his bike around the building, parked his bike outside their door, walked into the office, went into the office copy room and then into the men's restroom. When officers arrived, the employee noticed a computer tower was missing from the copy room. Officers went to the men's room door and ordered the suspect to come out. Officers then found the suspect, Bays had taken apart the computer tower and placed it in his backpack with the apparent intention of stealing the computer from the business office. Officers were able to return the computer parts to the business employee. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on the charge of felony Burglary.


Arrested: Patrick W. Nesbet, 36, Boise

Charge: Intimidation of a State's Witness (F)

  Boise Police were called reference a pending theft case involving the suspect, Nesbet. After investigating, officers found evidence the suspect tried to intimidate a potential witness from testifying in the theft case. Officers learned Nesbet was to appear in court Monday reference the theft charge. Officers went to the courtroom and after the schedule proceeding, arrested the suspect on the above charge.
