Meth & Methadone responsible for BPD felony arrests

Arrested: Robert A. Weimer, 27, Garden City
Charge: Possession with intent to deliver - meth (F)
   A Boise Police officer on patrol shortly after 10:00 p.m. last night saw a pick up driving south on Orchard weaving in and out of the traffic lane. The officer stopped the vehicle after it turned onto Emerald. While speaking with the driver, the suspect Weimer, officers could see his eyes appeared glassy and bloodshot and his speech was slurred. A Boise Police K9, Vigo arrived on scene and alerted to the bed of the pick up. A subsequent search by officers revealed three baggies containing a white crystal substance, scales and drug paraphernalia.  The white substance field tested positive for approx 4 grams (total package weight) of meth. The suspect was booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charge.
Arrested: Preston R. Pollard, 23, Boise
Charge: Possession of a Controlled Substance - methadone (F), FTA warrant
   Boise Police received information Thursday that a man with an outstanding warrant for an unresolved traffic infraction was at a park on N. 13th St in Boise. Officers found the man at the park at approx 6:30 p.m. He was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant. In a search following his arrest, officers found the suspect to also be in possession of several white pills identified as methadone, a narcotic for which the suspect did not have a prescription. The suspect was booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charges.
