A Boise Police patrol officer, working off information received from a citizen and his own investigation, learned that drug activity may be occurring in a motel room near the Boise Airport. The officer learned the occupant of the room, identified as Gregory K. Evans, was on felony probation with a valid 4th amendment waiver (subject to searches as a condition of probation). Officers contacted the suspect's parole agent and together, the officers searched the motel room. Inside the motel room, officers found both suspects, Evans and Ferrier, along with several pipes and a white crystal like substance in plain view. The white substance field tested positive for methamphetamine. Officers also found other evidence that may indicate drug delivery. The officer's report has been sent to the Ada County Prosecutors Officer to review for possible additional charges.
