  Boise, May 25, 2010 - Boise Police responded to a report of a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo bank on Fairview and Cole at 2:22 pm this afternoon.

  Witnesses say a man walked into the bank and showed a teller a note (no weapon displayed). He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

  Boise Police conducted an immediate area search but did not locate the suspect.
 Immediately after the robbery, as a precaution, because of the proximity of Fairview Jr High, the school was placed on lockdown.  The lockdown lasted a very short time due to officers belief the suspect had left the area.

  Suspect description:At this time, officers believe they are looking for a light skinned male age 18 - 20, 5'5" - 5'6" tall. The suspect was last seen wearing what appeared to be a Boise State ballcap, dark sunglasses, a blue t-shirt with a logo and a black long sleeve shirt under that, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

  The content or nature of the note is not being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
