Boise Police observed a vehicle emitting very loud music, in violation of Boise City Code, as it travelled westbound on State street yesterday (May 12th) at approximately 9:00 p.m. As officers activated overhead lights and siren to stop the vehicle, the driver ignored the officers. At one point, after the driver made eye contact with officers, the vehicle turned into a parking lot and accelerated, before turning again into a trailer park on the 600 block of West State. The vehicle came to a stop and the driver exited the car. Officers instructed the driver, later identified as Sergio Zamudio, to place his hands on his head. At this point a second suspect, later identified as Michael Zamudio, began yelling at officers and cursing. Michael Zamudio retrieved a 2X4 piece of wood approximately 3 feet long and began to aggress officers while yelling threats. Neither suspect complied with commands issued by the officers on scene and continued to yell obscenities and threats at police. As officers took Sergio Zamudio into custody, a struggle took place. During the struggle, Sergio Zamudio produced a knife from his waistband. Officers wrestled him to the ground and Sergio Zamudio was handcuffed. Michael Zamudio was also taken into custody. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Boise City Code - Section 10-20-02 NOISE PROHIBITIONS.It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or permit the operation of any loud amplification device upon or within a motor vehicle in such a manner that the sound there from is plainly audible upon a public right-of-way or street at a distance of fifty (50) feet or more from the source of such sound.

Officers contacted the driver and received consent to search the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed 2 prescription pill bottles containing a total of 32 pills. A detailed investigation indicated the suspect did not have a prescription for the medication. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Warrant Charges:Fraudulent Use of a Transaction Card (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Transaction Card yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the unauthorized use of a business credit card starting in July of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect used the card to make more than $4,000 dollars in unauthorized purchases between July and December of last year. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
