BPD daily felony arrest report:

Arrested: William Brett Rice, 30, Boise

Charge: Possession of methamphetamine (F), Felony Parole Violations 

   Boise Police were called to assist Ada County Paramedics at approx 4:00 a.m. Monday morning, March 29th, to a home on the 2200 blk of W. Kootenai St. The call came from a woman who reported a man having symptoms of what appeared to be a drug overdose, including being passed out, difficulty breathing and a slow pulse.

    When police and paramedics arrived, the man began to wake up. He was checked, treated and released on scene by EMS. 

    Upon further investigation, officers found the suspect had recently injected meth. Officers also found approx. 4 grams of a white crystal-like substance believed to be meth, along with a variety of meth paraphernalia, including a metal spoon and several syringes. Rice was also found to be on parole for previous drug and theft charges. He was booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charges, that include a no bond parole agents warrant. 


Arrested: Christy Leon, 18, Boise

Charge: Burglary (F)

   Boise Police were called by security personnel at a large retailer in the area of Franklin and Milwaukee. Witnesses told police they saw the suspect, Leon conceal clothing items and try to leave the store without paying. After further investigation, Boise Police arrested Leon on the felony burglary charge. The felony count goes to evidence the suspect entered the store with the intention of committing a crime.

Arrested: Ali Mayid Kathem, 25, Boise - Felony Stalking - domestic related

Arrested: Jon P. Williams, 46, Boise - Felony Kidnapping - domestic related
