Officers to Shave it Off to Fight Kids Cancer

Officers to Shave it Off to Fight Kids Cancer

Boise, Feb. 10, 2010 – It’s time again for St. Baldrick’s, a fun and revealing fund raising activity where participants collect donations to shave their heads to support Childhood cancer research.

Last year, a team of 17 Boise Police officers participated, shaving their heads for the cause and collecting more than $3,700!

Boise Police are asking the public’s support once again to help with this terrific cause.

BPD – ACSO Challenge!

Employees of both Boise Police and the Ada County Sheriff’s Office are participating in the St. Baldrick’s event. Show your support for Boise PD and donate for our team! Of course, the real winners in the challenge are the children, health care providers and the researchers fighting against childhood cancer. If we can beat childhood cancer, we all win.
