02-02-10 Guy looks/acts odd in a local bank recently - know him?

Boise, Feb. 2, 2010 - Boise Police responded to a call from employees of a local bank last week reporting that a man had walked in appearing and acting in a way the employees deemed as odd. The man left without receiving any bank services.
Boise Police are following up and asking the public's help in identifying the man for questioning.

What Happened: On Wednesday, Jan 27, 2010 at approx 9:34 a.m., a man walked into a bank on Vista Ave. just north of Kootenai St. wearing sunglasses, a dark hoodie, and had gauze taped to his chin.
A bank employee asked the man to remove his sunglasses, which is a common safety precaution taken by employees of financial institutions.
Employees report the man took off the sunglasses, appeared to be nervous, then left the bank without seeking any services.
Boise Police would like to identify the man and follow up on the report by asking him some questions.

Suspect Description: In addition to appearances in the attached photo, the man is described as approx 6' tall, heavy build, approx 265 lbs., estimated to be between 45 & 50 years old, grey hair with a receeding hairline, he may have chin hair or a goatee. At the time, he was wearing a dark hoodie, dark sunglasses, may have been wearing brown gloves, and had gauze with medical tape covering his chin and lower lip.

Anyone with any information on who the man may be is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS, or log onto, or text CRIMES or 274637, subject: Tip236.
