10-30-09 UPDATE: Arrest in Parkcenter Bank Robbery

UPDATE: Arrest

    Boise, Oct. 30, 2009 - Boise Police have charged a Boise man with robbery charges in connection with this incident after the man was arrested following a pursuit on Eagle Rd. the pursuit began after another bank robbery in Garden City (see release dated Oct. 29).

    Arrested: Joshua D. Johnson, 33, Boise

    Boise, Oct. 27, 2009 - Boise Police are searching for a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred shortly before 5:00 p.m. this afternoon at a bank on Parkcenter & Apple.

    Boise Police are following several leads, but at this time, no suspect has been identified and no arrests have been made.

    What Happened: Boise Police were called to a reported robbery of the bank on the 800 blk of E. Parkcenter Blvd at 4:58 p.m. this afternoon.

    When detectives arrived on scene, witnesses told them a man walked into the bank, up to a teller and verbally demanded money. The man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen leaving the area on foot southbound.

    The suspect is described as a light skinned male, mid-to-late 20's, 6' - 6'2", thin build, with noticeable acne, acne scars and a bandaid on his face. The suspect was wearing a baseball cap with a "P" logo on the front, a grey hoodie, jeans, black gloves.
