10-02-09 Overnight Felony Arrests

     Overnight Felony Arrests of note in the City of Boise


       Arrested:  Amber L. Menges, 25, Boise

     Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI) (F), Driving Without Privileges (m)
   Boise Police observed a vehicle fail to yield to pedestrians at a crosswalk while performing an illegal lane change early this morning (October 2nd) at the corner of 12th and Idaho at approximately 2:00 a.m. Officers who made contact with the driver conducted field sobriety tests before transporting the suspect to the jail for further testing. The suspect blew a .17 at the jail. A records check through dispatch indicated the driver had two prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. Records also indicated the suspect was suspended at the time resulting in the Driving Without Privileges charge. The suspect was booked without incident on the above listed charges.
