08-11-09 Meth Trafficking Arrest
   Boise, Aug. 11, 2009 - Boise Police arrested a Nampa man last night after a traffic stop revealed the man was in possession of 247 grams of meth, $10,000 in cash. The suspect, a convicted felon, was also illegally in possession of a handgun and ammunition.
   Arrested: Alfredo Ybarra, 46, Nampa
   Charges: Trafficking in Methamphetmine (F) ISC 37-2732(b), Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (F) ISC 18-3316
   A Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officer, driving in the area of Avenue B and Bannock St. about 8:18 p.m. last night, saw a vehicle violate two traffic laws. A traffic stop was made and a police K9 alerted on the vehicle. A search of the car found the driver in possession of 247 grams of a white powder substance that field tested positive for meth, $10,148 in cash, drug paraphernalia, a loaded handgun and several rounds of ammunition.
   Officers found the driver and suspect, Ybarra, to be a felon with a history of drug charges.
