08-04-09 Attempted Grand Theft & Burglary arrests

    Boise August 4th, 2009 - Attempted Grand Theft & Burglary charges top the overnight arrests in the City of Boise


    Arrested: Taylor E. Hawk, 18, Boise

     Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a citizens report of suspicious subjects early this morning (August 4th) on the corner of Winthrop and Trafalger at approximately 1:00 a.m. Officers observed two juveniles and one adult male, later identified as Taylor Hawk, as they walked away from a vehicle parked in the victims driveway. Officers determined that the three males had entered at least 5 vehicles to steal change and other items. The two juveniles were released to the custody of their guardians and will face charges. Taylor Hawk was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges. 


    Arrested: Randy L. Burris, 23, Boise

     Charges: Grand Theft by possession (F), Attempted Grand Theft (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of stolen equipment yesterday (August 3rd) at approximately 8:00 p.m. at a home on the 2900 block of Robert Street. The victim tells police that an employee, later identified as Randy Burris, had stolen a piece of equipment from his business and placed it for sale on Craigslist. The equipment, valued at roughly $3,700.00 was recovered by police at the suspects home. During the investigation Officers also discovered that the suspect was in possession of a stolen trailer that had been taken two weeks earlier from another victim. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
