07-17-09 Franklin Road Robbery

 Boise July 17th, 2009 - Boise Police are asking for the publics help in locating a robbery suspect.

    What happened: At approximately 4:50 p.m. witnesses tell police that an adult male approached an employee at a retail outlet located on the 5200 block of West Franklin and demanded money. The man received an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the store on foot. No weapon was displayed at the time of the robbery and no one was injured. The suspect was last seen on foot crossing the parking lot. An extensive area search did not immediately located the suspect. 

    Witnesses Description: Witnesses describe the suspect as a light skinned male in his 20's, with a medium build, about 5’10. At the time of the robbery witnesses say the man was wearing a straw hat and a white shirt with dark colored pants. Witnesses believe the man may have been wearing a fake beard and a brown wig. Victims tell police that he may have also had on a red and white tie carrying a book bag at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information is urged to call crime stoppers at 343-COPS or non emergency dispatch.
