Boise July 9th, 2009 - Boise Police are looking for a man who robbed a checker at a large retail outlet on the 3500 block of South Federal Way this afternoon.

    What happened: At approximately 3:50 p.m. witnesses tell police that an adult male handed a note demanding cash to an employee working the checkout counter. The man received an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the store on foot. No weapon was displayed at the time of the robbery and no one was injured. The suspect was seen on foot in the parking lot. An extensive area search did not immediately located the suspect. 

    Witnesses Description: Witnesses describe the suspect as a light skinned male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, with a medium build, about 5’9. At the time of the robbery witnesses say the man was wearing a bike helmet, black hooded sweatshirt and long pants (possibly blue jeans), sunglasses, and  Unknown colored jacket with a reflective stripe on it. The suspect may also have a black goatee.
