06-29-09 Officers Search for Suspects in Robbery of Boise Home

    Boise, June 29, 2009 - Boise Police are looking for two men who ransacked and robbed a home in the area of Mountain View Dr & Cole Rd. this afternoon. The victim is an elderly woman who was home at the time of the robbery. The victim was not hurt.

   What Happened - Boise Police were called to the home near Cole Rd. & Mountain View Dr at 2:59 p.m. this afternoon. The victim, a woman in her 70's, said she was in her kitchen when two men entered through an open back door. She tells officers she was verbally threatened by one of the suspects to stay seated while the other went to her bedroom and began rifling through her things.

   The victim says the suspects left after about five minutes, leaving her bedroom ransacked. At this time, the victim is unable to tell what, if any items were taken. Fortunately, the woman was not hurt.

   Suspect's Description - both suspects are described as young men approx. 20- 25 years old. Both were wearing long sleeve shirts and pants. Both have close cropped haircuts, are clean shaven, with tall, slender builds.

   Suspect #1 is a white male with blond hair.   Suspect #2 is described by the victim as a darker skinned, Hispanic-looking male, well spoken, wearing a dark blue long sleeve shirt and white pants.

    The suspects left the house through the same back door they came in. They were last seen on foot.
