Boise May 19th, 2009 - Boise Police are seeking your help in locating a burglary suspect

Yesterday afternoon (May 18th) Boise Police responded to a report of a vehicle burglary that took place at approximately 4:09 p.m. at Willow Lane Park. Witnesses tell police that a dark skinned man had slashed the canvas top of a car and forced the window open on another vehicle to steal several personal items including a hot pink DVD player. The suspect had also slashed the tires on the two vehicles. The suspect was seen by the victims as they returned to their vehicles. Officers hope that the description of the suspect may lead to his arrest on potential felony burglary and malicious injury to property charges.

Suspect Description: Witnesses tell police that the suspect was a dark skinned male with short hair. The man was roughly 5-8 or 5-10 feet tall and between 25 and 28 years old. The suspect did not have any facial hair but did have tattoos on his upper body. The suspect is described as slender, but muscular in build. At the time witnesses say he was wearing bright blue long shorts with a white stripe, white athletic shoes and no shirt.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to call crime stoppers at 343-COPS or call non emergency dispatch with information.
