Boise April 14th, 2009 - A felony charge of Possession of Meth tops overnight arrests in Boise

Arrested: Christopher D. Briggs, 30, Boise

Charges: Possession of Meth (F), Possession of a Concealed Weapon (M)

Boise Police Officers were dispatched to a suspicious subject passed out in a car at approximately 7:45 a.m. yesterday morning on the 4600 block of Alamosa Street near Willow Lane Park. Officers located the car parked facing the wrong way on the north side of the road with the rear end sticking out into the lane of traffic. The headlights where still on, however the vehicle was not running. Concerned for the safety of the sole occupant of the vehicle, Boise Police officers made contact with the driver. As the man, later identified as Christopher Briggs, exited the car officers observed a knife that had been concealed under the driver, resulting in the concealed weapons charge. During a search of the vehicle, officers recovered three baggies of Meth with a total weight of 2.7 grams.
