Boise April 9th, 2009 - Delivery of a controlled substance Charges top overnight arrests in Boise


    Arrested: Misty L. McWilliams, 27, Boise (alias of Misty L. May)

    Charges: Possession of a stolen credit card (F), Carrying a concealed weapon (M)

    Warrant Charges: Delivery of a controlled substance (METH)(F), Failure to appear (M)

    Boise Police located a wanted subject on the corner of Maple Grove and Ustick at approximately 8:00 p.m. last night. Misty McWilliams (alias of Misty May) was searched incident to her arrest. During that search officers recovered a stolen credit card and a concealed knife.

    The felony warrant stems from an incident that took place on November 4th, 2008 at the corner of Chinden Blvd. and Curtis Rd. in Boise. On that day Misty McWilliams was stopped on a traffic violation at approximately 6:51 a.m. A K-9 unit alerted officers to the possible presence of drugs in the vehicle and a search of the car resulted in the recovery of two plastic baggies containing Meth. Due to an ongoing investigation that information was routed to the Ada County Prosecuting attorneys office which resulted in the felony warrant for delivery of a controlled substance.
