032009 Drug possession leads to Child Injury charges; daily arrest report

    Boise, March 20, 2009 - Boise Police arrested a woman for having meth and meth paraphernalia within reach of her two grade school age children. 

    Arrested: Misty D. Baker, 32, Boise

    Charges: Possession with intent to deliver (meth) (F), Injury to a child (F), Possession of paraphernalia (M), Probation violation charges

    Yesterday afternoon (March 19th) at approximately 4:44 p.m. Boise Police working with Idaho Probation and Parole agents searched the suspects apartment on the 9100 block of West Irving Street in Boise. During the search police located a total of 3 grams of meth, hypodermic needles and a pipe. Officers and agents say the drugs and paraphernalia were within easy access of two young children living at the home. Evidence indicates that the suspect had the intent to sell the drugs. The two children, both younger than 11 years old, were turned over to the custody of State Health and Welfare. The suspect was taken into custody on the above listed charges.


    Arrested: Jordan M. Tanner, 18, Boise 

    Charges: Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (F), Open container (M), Minor consumption (M), Carrying a concealed weapon (M), Possession of paraphernalia (M)

    Last night (March 19th) at approximately 10:40 p.m. Boise Police observed two people drinking beer in a parking lot on the 1800 block of West Main Street. When Police made contact with the two males they conducted an officers safety pat down of the two suspects. Officers located a concealed knife, a pill bottle containing a controlled substance with three pills and a pipe with marijuana residue in the possession of Jordan Tanner. The suspect was arrested for the above listed charges. The other man was issued a misdemeanor summons (citation) for possession of an open container of alcohol, and released.


    Arrested: Tyler A. Weaver, 20, Boise

    Charges: Possession with intent to deliver (Meth) (F), Possession with intent to deliver (Marijuana)(F), Possession of forged bills (F), Possession of drug paraphernalia (M)

    Yesterday evening (March 19th) at approximately 7:20 p.m. Boise Police conducting an unrelated investigation, made contact with Tyler Weaver at a parking garage on the 100 block of East Front Street. While talking with the suspect, Officers repeatedly asked him to stop placing his hands in his pocket. After obtaining a consent to search his person, officers located multiple baggies of meth, a baggie of marijuana and an electronic scale. Officers received a consent to search the suspects nearby apartment and located more meth, marijuana, packaging materials and paraphernalia. In total Police recovered 4.9 grams of meth and 3.8 grams of marijuana. Police also located several counterfeit bills of various denominations. The suspect was taken into custody on the above listed charges without incident. 

    The investigation into the counterfeit currency continues.
