03-18-09 Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

    Boise, March 18, 2009 - Boise Police are searching for information on a reported armed robbery that occurred at a small retail store on the 400 blk of Milwaukee approx. 8:19 p.m. last night, March 17th.

    According to a witness, a man entered the store and confronted the store clerk. The suspect had a black handgun and demanded money. The clerk was the only person in the store at the time. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

    Suspect Description: light skinned male, round face, stocky build, bushy eyebrows, used an Irish accent. The suspect wore a blue half-zip pullover with some red on the collar, blue pants and black gloves.

    Anyone with any information on the crime or suspect is urged to call Boise area Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS. Callers can remain anonymous. Callers with information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
