03-13-09 Motel Robbery - Search for Suspect

    Boise, March 13, 2009 - Boise Police are searching for the man who robbed a Main Street motel at gunpoint this morning.\

    Boise Police were called to the motel on the 3000 blk. of W. Main St. by an employee approx. 4:45 a.m. The victim reported a man walked into the lobby, pointed a gun at her, ordered her to the ground, and took cash. The suspect was last seen leaving the building on foot.

    Suspect description: light-skinned male, 30-40yrs old, dark hair, 5’ 05”, heavy build, dark colored zip up coat, dark pants, black knit ski hat, and black leather gloves. 

    The suspect was armed with a black, long barreled semi-auto pistol. 

   Anyone with any information on the crime or suspect is urged to call Boise area Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS. Callers can remain anonymous. Callers with information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
