02-24-09 Aggravated Battery tops overnight arrests

Arrested: Isaiah Matt Hanson, 23 years old of Boise

Charges: Aggravated Battery (F), DUI 2nd Offense (M), Driving Without Privileges (M)

Arrested: Josiah Jeff Hanson 24 years old of Boise

Charges: Battery (M)

On February 24th, 2009 at approximately 0:10 AM officers where dispatched to an unknown incident at Vista and Edsen. Officers determined that the dispute started when the suspects were parked in the victim's parking spot at an apartment building near BSU. The victim had called for a tow truck when the suspects came back and offered to pay the victim $20 to avoid the tow. The suspects convinced the victim to follow them to a bank on Vista to withdraw the money. At the bank the suspects began arguing with the victim, and ultimately Josiah shoved the victim and Isaiah struck him with their car causing what appeared at the time to be minor injuries to his leg. The victim was not transported. Officers quickly located the suspect car at Roosevelt North of Kootenai and the two men where arrested on the above charges. Suspect Isaiah Hanson has a suspended license and blew a .18 and .18 when administered a breath test.


Arrested: Jerimiah Mathew Sherrill, 19 years old of Boise

Charges: Burglary (attempted) (F)

On February 23rd at approximately 4:00 AM officers where dispatched to a burglary alarm in progress at a store on the 6600 block of Overland. Officers located the suspect in the immediate area and determined that Jerimiah Sherill had attempted to enter the business by throwing a rock and breaking the glass on the front of the store. He was unable to gain entry.
