01-29-09 Arrest in Knife Attack
   Boise, Jan. 29, 2009 - Boise Police arrested a suspect in a knife attack that occurred during a fight last week at a home near Overland & Vista.
   Suspect: Brian P. Phillips, 20, Boise
   Charge: Aggravated Battery
   Phillips was arrested approx. 9:00 p.m. last night by Boise Police when he returned to his home. Officers have been looking for him there and elsewhere since detectives were able to identify him as the suspect in the attack shortly after it occurred.
   The incident occurred last Thursday night, January 22nd. Detectives learned the suspect, Phillips, was involved in an argument with another man, when the fight turned violent. Phillips is accused of cutting the victim with a box cutter type utility knife. Both the suspect and victim were acquainted. The suspect left the scene as police were called, and has been on the run until last night. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was treated and released from the hospital.
