01-23-09 Suspect Sought in Overnight Stabbing

Boise January 23rd, 2009 - Boise Police are looking for the suspect in an overnight stabbing. 

What happened: On January 22nd at approximately 9:30 pm Officers where dispatched to West Juniper Street on a reported stabbing. The victim also called in to report the stabbing from a parking lot near Vista and Overland. When officers arrived at the two locations witnesses tell Police that two men had become involved in an argument that turned physical with fists, then a knife. The victim was cut during the altercation, receiving what appeared at the time to be non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the home before officers arrived.

At this time Detectives are following up on the investigation and working to identify a person of interest in the case.
