11-25-08 Armed Robbery

Boise, November 24th, 2008 - Boise Police are asking the public for assistance in catching a suspect that entered a residence in the 3200 blk of Anderson, threatening several occupants with a handgun.

Several occupants were in an apartment when the suspect entered the unlocked door and pointed a silver/black semi-automatic handgun at them and demanded cash. While the suspect was inside, several more acquaintances of the victims arrived and the suspect left quickly with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then got into the back of a waiting vehicle driven by another suspect and left quickly eastbound on Anderson towards 32nd st. Officers conducted an extensive area search for the vehicle but did not locate it. No one was injured during the robbery.

SUSPECT INFORMATION: Suspect is described as a white male, 5’11” to 6’02”, 180-200lbs, wearing a camouflage baseball cap, a white cloth over his nose and mouth (described as a cutoff section of a sleeve pulled over his head), a light colored jacket with a white wool neck trim over several sweaters, and light colored pants.

VEHICLE INFORMATION: Described as a late 80s or early 90s dark colored 4dr sedan, occupied by at least one subject in addition to the robbery suspect.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
