During the arrest of Mr Gary Collins several stolen and forged checks where located in his possession. After investigating those items Detectives with Boise Police have added two counts of felony Grand theft by possession and two counts of felony possession of forged checks to the list of charges Collins faces.

Boise October 30th, 2008 - An overnight traffic stop by Boise Police has resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs and the arrest of an Oregon man on drug distribution charges. 

Arrested: Gary F. Collins Junior, 25, FLorence, Oregon

Charges: Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (F), and Possession of Paraphernalia (m), 2 counts of Grand theft by possession (f) and 2 counts of possession of forged checks (f) 

What happened: At approximately 1:30 am this morning Boise Police Patrol Officers observed a Silver Honda Civic westbound on Grove Street turn North onto Capital,  crossing multiple lanes without using a turn signal. Officers stopped the vehicle, and saw the front passenger in possession of a baggie that contained marijuana. A search of the suspect and his backpack turned up an additional 5 baggies of marijuana, a marijuana pipe and additional packaging materials. In all, officers found 116 grams of marijuana (roughly four ounces), with a street value of approx. $1,200.
