08-15-08 Overnight Aggravated Battery

August 15th, 2008 - Boise Police are investigating a case of aggravated battery that took place overnight at a party in the downtown area last night.

What happened: Witnesses tell Police that a party involving alcohol consumption took place on the 1200 block of Lincoln near the intersection with Rossi Street. Just before 4:00 AM several party goers where involved in a physical fight at residence  where the party was taking place. A short time later party goers saw a pickup swerve onto the grass near the intersection of Rossi and Lincoln striking four party goers. The vehicle did not stop, and sped away from the scene. 

Three people where transported to an area hospital with injuries that did not at the time appear to be life threatening to Officers.

The victims have been unable to provide officers with a good description of the driver.

The vehicle is described as an early 90's red Ford full sized pickup truck.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or seen this vehicle at the time in the immediate area is urged to call crime stoppers at 343-COPS.
