06-16-08 Stangulation-DV-Kidnapping

On 6-16-08 at about 6:50 pm, Boise Police Officers responded to a Domestic Violence call on Ridgecrest Dr. The adult female victim, calling from a neighbor’s residence, reported that she had been battered and held against her will by an adult male. The suspect, Doyal C. Waisner, 39 years of age, remained in the residence and refused to speak with officers. Officers eventually made entry into the residence where they were confronted by Waisner who still refused to comply with commands. A police K9 was deployed and after a short struggle, officers were able to take Waisner into custody. Waisner was treated at a local hospital for his non-life threatening injuries resulting from the K9 deployment. After his release, he was booked into the Ada County Jail for the above charges. Boise Police Detectives along Victim Witness Coordinators assisted in the investigation and caring for the victim.

Further information will be available through Lynn Hightower tomorrow morning after the investigation is completed.
