05-08-08 Strong Armed Robbery

Boise, May 8th, 2008 - Boise Police are searching for the man who robbed a federal credit union at approximately 3:00 PM this afternoon.

    Suspect Description: 

  • Witnesses describe the suspect as approximately 6 feet tall, very thin build, weighing approximately 150 to 180 lbs.
  • The suspect was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweater with unknown lettering across the chest, a black ski mask with no nose opening, black gloves, blue jeans that fit very tightly and white tennis shoes.
  • He was last seen running North through the parking lot on foot.

    What Happened: At approximately 3:00 PM this afternoon a man entered the Les Bois Federal Credit Union on the 8600 block of West Emerald and demanded cash. Witnesses say that no weapon was displayed during the robbery and no one was injured in the robbery. The man was last seen fleeing the area with an undisclosed amount of cash on foot traveling North across the parking lot.

Witnesses tell police that the man may have been seen in the immediate area this morning, prior to the robbery.
