03-21-08 Arrests in Grand Theft Case

Boise March 21st, 2008- Boise Police Detectives arrested two people on March 19th for Grand Theft in connection with a scheme to steal computers before they could be delivered to peoples homes. Detectives have determined that Jeremy Bamford who worked for a local shipping company had been taking the computers home, instead of making the deliveries. The suspect had then, attempted to sell the stolen items out of his home on the 2200 block of Lemi in Boise. Valerie Bryan has also been arrested for assisting in the attempted sales of the merchandise. Detectives estimate that between 15 and 20 Dell computers had been taken. The value of the merchandise is estimated to be roughly 10 to 15 thousand dollars. 

Arrested: Jeremy Bamford, 20 years old of Boise

Charge: Grand Theft, Felony

Arrested: Valerie Bryan, 23 years old of Boise

Charge: Grand Theft, Felony
