01-22-08 Auto Burglary-Stolen Vehicle

Boise, January 22nd, 2008- At 0300 hours, a neighbor living in the 3700 block of Rugby was awakened by the sound of breaking glass. As he looked out the window, he saw his neighbor's car being burglarized by 3 suspects. When the suspects saw him, they ran off on foot into the neighborhood leaving their car in the street. 

    The suspects vehicle was found to be stolen out of Garden City. Officers set up a perimeter and with the help of a police K9, were able to apprehend all three. One suspect who refused to come out of his hiding spot when challenged by police, was hit by the police dog. He was treated and released by St. Al's.

     The Suspects are:

        Salkield, Dustin J. 20 years old of Boise

        Wiley, Elizabeth 18 years old of Caldwell

        Jones, Jeremiah W. 18 years old of Garden City
